About Us

Fountain Square Brewing opened on January 21, 2012. Much has changed in the past decade since opening. Head Brewer Beppe Cuello and his service-industry-veteran wife Dama Cuello acquired Fountain Square Brewing in January 2023, saving the staff, taproom, and this legacy brand from dissolution. With a rich 12-year history and over 1500 batches of beer brewed right here in Fountain Square, we are now one of the oldest microbreweries consecutively operating within Indianapolis and are now proudly a woman- and Latin-owned business.

Since our reopening last March, we are placing the focus back on the original tenets of Fountain Square: making delicious craft beer and providing a space for local artists to share their creations. The core beers you have come to love, such as Workingman’s Pilsner, Preacher’s Daughter Amber Ale, Backyard Porter, and Soul Ride IPA, are improved without recipe changes. One reason for this is that our core, seasonal, and experimental small batches all incorporate as many locally grown ingredients as possible.

There’s always something to do at the Brewery. We have open stage nights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; karaoke every Thursday; and rotate between live music, drag, and comedy on the weekends. Many of our events are free. The FSB Taproom will always be dog-friendly!
